On Katie Kitamura's "Audition"
Kitamura said she was inspired by Lynch in writing this, and I thought the structure and atmosphere was totally Mulholland Drive-y?!
If only she had run into a scary guy behind the restaurant… I do think the split functions similar to mulholland drive but films (and plays) have the added benefit of visuals to demarcate changes in narrative where KK’s are a bit disembodied….
